There are probably some I've missed but even so that list would be enough to bring in the punters.

Well Friday in Greece could be a tad spicy as Odyssey will be released. The Greek government approved roughly €6.5 million in subsidies to support Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey as well as allowing filming in historically significant locations across the country (Acrocorinth, Pylos and Methoni).  Where's the problem I hear you say, well it seems not a single Greek actor was cast in the film.

The Greek City Times even published an open letter calling Nolan out over issues with the production

https://greekcitytimes.com/2026/05/25/a-letter-to-hollywood-and-nolans-odyssey-cast-from-us-greeks/

Something tells me that Nolan's exercise in "best speculation" as there apparently weren't enough texts or artifacts is going to bite him hard.

Caught the start of the Odyssey earlier, it's..............err...........interesting. Picture the scene, it's the banquet hall at the Palace of Ithaca. Telemachus is sat there surrounded by idiot suitors vying for the throne when it walks the rhapsodes, portrayed by a famous American rapper (trust me that is relevant) to tell the story of the fall of Troy..........in an accent that is less straight out of Corinth and more straight out of Compton. I wouldn't be surprised if later in the film he describes Odysseus striding from the horse and popping a cap in a Trojan guard's ass it was that strong. I'm probably going to watch the film but something tells me I'll have to wait till it hits streaming or else I'll get thrown out of the cinema for cracking up laughing every few minutes.

From what I saw of it I suspect with a decent supply of voddy melons, you Apey and Misty would have a fine old time watching it and taking the piss all the way through.  whistle:
