Well we got as far as 7pm with no disaster pressie and then we get to prisoner pressie exchange session 3 and a box marked Fragile is placed in front of Mrs K and my own badself.  We start to open it cautiously and my niece says:  it's glasses hand decorated by our (4 year old) daughter

thoughts racing:  WTF are we going to be able to say without seeming/being heartless leading to a somewhat tense atmosphere and ruining the whole evening?

A glass in bubbly wrap is carefully extracted and slowly unwrapped . . . .

And then I won the most on the Escalado   ;D

How nice that they took the time to make something for you? Too easy to buy stuff sometimes.

No foul ups here.  Well I did have to carve turkey (a fowl up?) - you have no idea how hard it is not to sam


ple a slice or 3.  Then CWMBO had some and now won't eat anything else

Did get given  a whole stack of beers of the world including from Smugland and haven't had to share any with guests
