I am returned from battling the utter fuckwittery that is mothers day traffic.  Jeez do some people drive their Mums slow.

Anyway I am apparently a superb cook in my Mum's eyes for taking lunch to her

I'm not of course any cop but here's a top tip:  Sainsbury's Chicken in cider sauce with leeks and tatties meal deal with choccy puds and wine is so easy to cook and apparently is yumster.  (Their mushroom risotto is cracking too)
Well, whatever, nevermind

I am not breeding I have bred. ::)  My days of having to munch through a pile of cold floppy toast covered in either too much jam or butter or both whilst making appreciating noises and staring at the limp daffodil at the side of the tray at stupid o'clock in the morning are long gone.  cloud9:

I have had lovely cards from my children a rose, six bunches of Channel Island narcissi and a beautifully printed chicken voucher from eldest daughter.  She will be coming here next weekend and we will redeem said voucher for the real thing. ;D

Busy here packing books and 'stuff' up ready to take it up stairs and cleaning the bathroom floor.

Can't bear going out on a day such as today (see also Bank Holidays). Everywhere is over run by parents trying to look happy whilst dealing with screaming and mis behaving brats in shops bars and restaurants which have inflated their prices for this special occasion. cussing:

Mr C cooked breakfast which is something that I was going to do but I had to field a phone call.

Pottering in the garden this avro followed by roast beef for supper.

The weather is good so all is well in my little world. cloud9:

Top MUM.  Thumbs:

Yes, I think we got that.... ::)

 lol:

An orchid and a card with a French town scene from the Eldest (and was kissed too  eeek:) and a box of chocolates and a card telling me I am special from the Little Un.   cloud9:

The orchid the Eldest gave me 4 years ago is in flower at the moment too.   cloud9:
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

I received beautiful cards (which in part was a surprise as my youngest is not talking or happy with me at the moment terrible person I am) plants (for new garden) and Grandma things pen, keyring and pretty mug with scarf..  cloud9:

I too hate going out on days like Mothers day bank holidays etc.

Being taken to the pub to eat tonight instead  cloud9:  Nice and quiet like  Thumbs:

The Brat got up at 9am on a Sunday morning to give me a card and some presents  eeek:

Then she went back to bed.
I went to the mans house where we chilled out whilst his boys went to see The Loon for Mothers Day.
Tranquility ...the best gift
