So no, not really, nothing I can actually print with.   evil:

I've learned a lot from YouTube already though and have done some (fairly simple it has to be said) 3D design, slicing, etc.  :thumbsup:

They ship free by courier... They ship via Brussels so I don't have to pay duty and VAT on it... not sure how they manage that...  rubschin:

Anyhooo.... I ordered the printer plus an optional glass printing bed and a roll of filament. I got the glass bed and filament in a couple of days but no printer. Apparently, they are en-route between China and Brussels... ::)

They did offer me the chance to cancel but I've asked them to chuck in some free stuff instead...

It is annoying 'cos I deliberately didn't order before Xmas as I thought it was sure to arrive when I was in the UK...  Banghead

Aha

I've bought Canadian booze via France so I didn't have to pay duty and VAT on it.  It's legal as its paid by the original importer from the EU - well it should be.  The UK apparently has a very sus record on that and as a result we owe £Bs in unpaid duty related EU contributions.

Last week there were signs of a clamp down on Chinese sites selling via Amazon and eBay  https://news.bloombergtax.com/daily-tax-report-international/uk-red-flags-tax-evading-sellers-to-amazon-ebay-alibaba-2

Aye... Perhaps if they didn't charge such ridiculously high rates of duty and VAT people wouldn't try and avoid paying them eh...? ::)
