Bank of Cyprus played a blinder on us today....  noooo:

Transferred €5,000 out of our 3-month deposit account into our current account...

Only thing was that the 3-month deposit account was empty - leaving us with a €5,000 overdraft (in a 3-month notice account???) at 12% interest!  cussing:

Complete mongs..........taken from another forum,,,,,,,,,

"When checking my MTN PayAsYouGo balance and validity period, I find that MTN have reduced my validity period from December to August. I spoke to MTN who really could not care less - "It is the new company policy" was repeated time and time again. MTN's new policy will mean a minimum cost of €60 a year for PayAsYouGo. For me it will be either Primetel or Cyta. In fact Cyta and Primetel must be 'jumping for joy' at their competitors stupid company rules."

New validity periods on Topup cards
€5 - 30 days
€10 - 60 days
€20 - 60 days
€35 - 90 days
€50 - 120 days

Again, shaft the customer mentality ........ noooo:

I am on contract with MTN. Cheap, plus you get a good phone when you sign up. They are more like UK telephone companies, unlike that pile of shite cyta.  noooo:

Cash is king now........

was speaking to a bar owner last night ...the bank called him and asked why he was not depositing any money any more ,,,,,,he just laughed at them ..

He told me he gets discounts from suppliers for paying cash .....or they only want cash ...so he said why bother driving to the bank ........he just deals in cash now
does not trust the banks.........
