This is probably a stupid question but if things are that bad over there right now who is going to buy?

If I had the balls to take that big a risk then I really do reckon the end of March would be a good time to buy property futures in Cyprus.

Property prices are good value at the moment, certainly below replacement value, and you wouldn't go too far wrong if you are a cash buyer, but I think there's a way to go yet. The banks have only just started to repossess and haven't started to touch personal debt yet.

(nothing to do with the banking ) ....they finally contacted him and asked .."what can you pay".... If they start repossesing property ..it will be a can of worms with the developers re-mortages.....
Another couple on my street have returned to the UK....and they were nice people... not even waiting to sell their house ...... that's 4 homes empty now....

Did you past the now empty other 2 malls on your way from the motorway... built 2 and 5 years ago.........
