Well I am that very type of person but I do like Britain far too much.  If I had the balls to take that big a risk then I really do reckon the end of March would be a good time to buy property futures in Cyprus.

Plus the Ruskis and Chinese are buying now.......

We would be very pleased to see you over here! Property prices are good value at the moment, certainly below replacement value, and you wouldn't go too far wrong if you are a cash buyer,  but I think there's a way to go yet. The banks have only just started to repossess and haven't started to touch personal debt yet.

I know loads of people not paying their mortages ......one bloke hasn't paid for 5 years.... (nothing to do with the banking ) ....they finally contacted him and asked .."what can you pay"....  

If they start repossesing property ..it will be a can of worms with the developers re-mortages.....

But having seen a fair few countries (not Cyprus yet) I really do like the UK as best for me

It's a can of worms whichever way you look at it, that doesn't mean that these issues won't be addressed

Another couple on my street have returned to the UK....and they were nice people...     not even waiting to sell their house ......   that's 4 homes empty now....

A friend of mine came back to the UK last summer (health reasons) they had been trying to sell for getting on for a year before they came back, & still haven't.
