Road Tax paid....  Shocked:

Don't want to say I told you so but.......... whistle:

Parliament is today (Thursday) expected to extend the deadline for renewing road tax and make March 9 the final payment date from now on. An extension will also be given to those who have not paid arrears that were due in July 2014. They will be given until March 31.

Thumbs:  I get an extension for not paying........

Just an observation but how is Cyprus set for resort style hotels? The Greek government is looking at changing the licences for hotels that offer all inclusive deals (food, drink etc) saying that it takes money from the local economy. If they go ahead with it then Cyprus could benefit if there are resorts in place that can run similar deals instead.

I think they're right.  I get sick of hearing people say they've been to a country and all they saw was their room, the bar and the pool.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Exactly, and seeing as Greece's inability to perform basic maths when it came to balancing the books caused serious problems for Cyprus it only seems fair that they are able to grab the tourists the new government doesn't want.  Thumbs:

I can see the appeal to families ....when your snotty brats wants coke and ice cream all day..you save that in a day........

The other thing is the tavernas and bars got expensive ..I bet a family of 4 do 100 a night for a meal n a couple of drinks....

Some AI customers do go out and explore the island but return to the hotel for food....

It is so cheap too....at the moment 1 hotel in Coral Bay is offering AI for 25 pound a day per person...accomodation ,food all day and unlimited drinks....it's cheaper to live there than at home.... rubschin:
