Looks like Ashley is finally going to feck off into the sunset and sell up.  rubschin:

let MBS and his thugs have the club.  At least then they won't be staining the decent United's with their ugly personae

As for Ashley he may be a bit of a shit but Newcastle would be propping up League 1 (division 3 in old money) were it not for his money over the years
Well, whatever, nevermind

A bit of a shit? Most Newcastle fans hate Freddie Sheppard and his sons with a passion yet they would have welcomed him back with open arms if it meant getting rid of Ashley. He put the bare minimum in to keep the club in the premier league purely for the free advertising he could get for Sports Direct. Insulted the entire fan base by renaming St James's Park to the Sports Direct Arena, constantly forced out any manager who asked for a workable budget in order to take the club to a decent level and let the stadium fall into a state that is a bloody embarrassment. He could have cashed out long before now but killed off previous attempts to buy the club out of pure greed trying to get far more than the club is worth in it's current state. If he wasn't losing money hand over fist at the moment the sale would never have gone through.

So what's MBS going to do for them?  Any player that causes trouble is invited to the Saudi embassy and 20 minutes later is being carved up into tiny little pieces?
Well, whatever, nevermind

Seems there may be a flaw in Ashley's plan as Khashoggi's fiance threatens legal action pointing out that under Premiership rules MBS is not a fit and proper person to have a controlling interest in a club.  She has a point

Not a great shock to be honest.  Don't think it'll be the last either.  Someone will rescue them surely won't they?

Hardly fair but we'll take the points and taunt any Seagulls fans with 'didn't anyone tell you not to aim at the post?'

Oh God, when things get back to something resembling normality the football chants mocking West Ham are going to be fucking hilarious  happy002
