All the papers are now going with the story too....... rubschin:

Yep, still to be confirmed though.  With that NYSE listing they probably cannot announce anything until Wall St closes (around 9pm IIRC)

Well, whatever, nevermind

There is your confirmation then.

I guess they are just waiting for the lawyers to type out the press conference in the nice legal terminology.

That's the damning thing.  If they deny it and it is true then they would be in so much legal trouble with the NYSE.  Same if it is true and they release it while NYSE is open.  Bt if it isn't true and they say it isn't they are OK

Join up the dots and he looks like history

Moyes gave it a go, but he was always a 'journey man'. Worked well with Everton on a small budget, however that does not make you able to take over a club that demands silverware rather than just staying up in the same division.  noooo:

He inherited a bunch of old players, no big investments over the last few years in the way Fergie had spent money in the past. I take my hat off to Fergie in what he achieved in his managing career.....but never liked him and would not trust him.  noooo:

If only the court case with JP McManus and John Mangier had not been settled out of court regarding Rock of Gibraltar, we might have heard about other things going on in the club regarding share deals or his son being  'a football agent' and where he got his contacts from etc..

It does keep old blue nose on a pedestal as a great manager, I wonder why Moyes was recommended by him?  rubschin:

Ferguson wasn't alone in tipping Moyes for the job but in retrospect the signs were all there esp that he'd won nothing.

Fergie did spend a fair bit in recent years just a lot was on so so players. Anderson, Young, Valencia, Kagawa etc all looked good in lesser clubs and Fergie was good at making the team knit together. Moyes seems to have been exactly the opposite.

United now seem to have denied on the record that he has been sacked but that doesn't mean he won't be gone by morning.

Or maybe they all tough it out and he does a Rodgers next season. Is that a flying pig I see.
