I have just seen on the news that there is going to be an effort to get every town, village and hamlet to ring their bells at ten past eight on the morning that the Olympics starts.  Should we participate?  I know that Miss D won't want to tug anything on that morning but others may want to?

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

I couldn't work out the significance of 0812hr's, I could see 2012hr's sort of making sense, but I suppose the bellringers will be wanting to watch the ceremony at that time  confused:

I don't think that you are taking this seriously, Everyone knows that BONG is the news at ten. evil: I am not inspired by the Olympics either nor do I understand the timing so Tipsy and I will do the tugging.
