It does get better?

WHEN?

I'll probably be dead by then. Try the patience of a saint, never mind a grumpin' growlin' old git like me.

Snoops. You have my heart felt sympathy. Nice to know we're not alone and can 'let off' in here ey?

I can hardly contain myself for the next exciting episode of 'Listen with Mother'  tunble:

Yours smug in the knowledge that my daughter is now so old I have forgotten (nearly) just how obnoxious she was.

It must have left it's mark though, I never felt inclined to repeat the experience after coping with a later pyromanic son.

I?m not sure when exactly but I now have a perfect 27 y/o.  whistle:

And, somewhere between 13 y/o monster and 27 y/o we?ve had new cars, car crashes, nightmare boyfriends, nightmare student accommodation, and endless university fees? I?m not sure if there was a certain day when it all changed?  noooo:

I don't think that they/we truly grow up until we are in our late twenties. Some not even then. Mr Wench and I seem to be given grown up status by both sets of parents in the past couple of years. However, Mr Wench's Brother who is the same age as me, still lives at home rent free and my Brother, a year younger, is still considered a child. Grown-up status isn't all it is cracked up to be. Perhaps if parents made it not so attractive to remain a child and all the benefits it entails then we would grow up and be sensible members of society faster.  angel1

I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
