Yet more piss taking under 'human' rights
« on: November 20, 2014, 06:25:56 PM »
This just beggars belief, 2 paedophiles who murdered a woman who was going to report them to the police are suing the government because their feelings have been hurt due to them being in a relationship prior to being arrested and not being able to see one another as they are in different prisons.

Quote
Mr Leighton said the men were aware of heterosexual couples, each of whom was in prison, being allowed face-to-face contact, but were not aware of homosexual couples with the same opportunity.

He argued that the state was obliged to assist prisoners to maintain effective contact with close family members.

In the action for judicial review the prisoners are seeking a declaration that the Scottish ministers have failed to respect their rights and that their treatment has been unlawful.

It is also argued that prison rules that require "exceptional circumstances" for inter-prison visits should be set aside. The action maintains that the murderers are discriminated against because of their sexual orientation.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who is thinking this, but we couldn't give a flying fuck if you are both gay or straight. We do however care that you are a pair of child rapists who planned and then murdered the woman who was going to inform the police of what you had been doing. Those 2 acts in themselves are enough to show that you don't deserve the rights afforded to normal people. You should think yourselves damn lucky that there isn't a death penalty in Scotland as wherever you stand on capital punishment I doubt anyone would have campaigned to save either of you evil scum.

The human rights act that you are so happily using to sue the government, despite its  many glaring  flaws, was created with the aim of protecting the rights of all individuals. What about the rights of your victims? I guess they don't count as they were only either entertainment or a problem that had to be dealt with as far as you are concerned.
