Personally I thought Purt described it perfectly ~ if the intention was to convey a meaning then Purt does it for me

purt was not found in the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary.

All a figment of my thankfully vivid imagination then it seems.

Spelt that way, it's pronounced pairrrrrt up here, whereas purt is spoken much more smoother...like, if you get me drift.
