I had thought of running a "Spot the Copper" comp in the village mag, with a prize to anyone who managed to get a snap of our local bobby actually in the village, but since it is such a small place I felt I didn't need the grief of being pulled over everytime I go out.

There is a part of me that thinks this idea is a stroke of genius. I'm pretty sure that a horse box costs less than a mobile speed camera so all they have to do now the story has broken is buy a load of horse boxes and just leave them by the side of the road to scare the drivers.
