The afternoon nap
« on: Yesterday at 03:01:50 PM »
I have never been able to sleep in the daytime. On the rare occasions when I have had to Man Flu etc”.) I have always felt like crap when I woke up.

Sleep is for nighttime!

Since the heatstroke thing a couple of weeks ago I have nodded off most afternoons around 2.00  evil:

Am I getting old?

Nah, getting sensible. It's just that in our working years we don't get the chance (he said having just woken up from a nap to find I'd been Cobnutted for the duration)
Well, whatever, nevermind

I normally have an afternoon nap. Today I didn't as I made the mistake of trying to contact British Gas. By the time I got it all sorted it was to late and I was too agitated to bother.

The subject recently came up at the card school I go to (all oldies) and the general consensus was for a nap. So Nick, I guess you're getting old.
