Just binge watched Adolescence... Simply remarkable, sensational!  cloud9:

The acting is superb and the cinematography has to be seen to be believed!  eeek:

Acting by all was brilliant but the youngster Owen Cooper is incredible...

Serious ..?..? Just watched it …shite ..yeah .I get all this camera clever crap …but I’m not a film student  Banghead  Could be good but like pulling teeth … still don’t know what happened in the a tualstory …

Well not coming up on the box really:  another series of Doctor Who

Mrs K has avidly watched them all but for yonks now I've been in the room doing/watching other stuff with at best half an eye on the politically and too often diversity motivated utter crap the BBC has delivered.

So for comparison we just watched the first episode of the 2005 relaunch https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0074dlv/doctor-who-20052022-series-1-1-rose

It's still brilliant.  Simple sets, good characters, Ecclestone suitably a little menacing, Billie Piper being attractive (and fair decent acting), some wit aimed at intelligent adults and a good plot.

When in 10 years time we're bemoaning that the BBC is no longer here, it will be mistakes like that that done for it. 

And best don't get me on 'I kissed a Boy' or 'Ru Paul's Drag Race'   evil: evil: evil: evil: evil:

Binge watching Mobland - very good apart from Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirran's terrible Irish accents...

After binge watching Landman - very good apart from the pointless daughter. I presume she will get a better role or be killed off in Series #2.

Well Amazon's new version of War of the Worlds is.............er.............interesting, yeah I'll go with that. So far it seems less HG Wells and more a commentary on the surveillance state and an advert for Amazon. Ice Cube stars as an DHS surveillance analyst (I'll give Apey a few minutes to stop laughing) with Eva Longoria as a Nasa scientist.

Dead God this makes the Asylum films look like works of art  happy002
