Say what you mean
« on: November 12, 2019, 03:34:36 PM »
So some cousin of mine ( not seen in years ) messages me on Faceache and says he has to come to the big smoke for a conference .

He is  looking at hotel accommodation and cant believe the price ( they also don't accept turnip futures or hay bonds ) . Yep he's from the West Country  lol:. The cheapest Premier Inn he could find was £159 for one night etc etc etc . He would appreciate my 'local knowledge' and his conference was at The Savoy  ::)

Now I read that and thought what you are trying to say is you want to come and stay with me and pocket whatever allowance you have been given for accommodation rubschin:

So first question ..." isn't your employer paying for accommodation as this is work related "

Never got a direct answer to that

Second question " what is your budget?"

Never got a direct answer to that

Seems my initial  thoughts were proving right so why don't you just come out and ask  evil:

Next message I just sent him the link to a hotel under a hundred quid for the night and walkable to his conference .

I got a "thanks" for this message  lol: lol: lol:
