ta, few surprises though.
What it does show is that to a degree being truly vegetarian or vegan is an impossible goal. The common example I use is flour. Does anyone really believe it never contains any ground up field mouse or fly that got in the way of harvesting? Well I guess some do, I never have.
Mrs K and I go for the two tests of not known to contain and every reasonable effort has been made to preclude. So I don't drink Guinness, eat genuine parmesan, Trebor mints etc. A huge number of products in the UK are now labelled as vegetarian and some specifically as not which makes life easy.
I will never pretend being veggie is more right than eating meat/fish or even that I will never revert, just right now it's what's right for me (nearly 20 years now)
What do I miss most? McDonalds chicken sandwiches
