My colleague dropped his car off for service this morning, He's just got a phone call. I can tell it's one of "those" calls from the garage.  eeek:

Tell your colleague that Growler knows an honest car repair man.

Is there such a person?

Anyway, apart from the cost of using a main dealer (!) two problems.

1) There was a loose exhaust, chap had popped to Kwik-Fit to have it checked last month but they said "nothing wrong guv"  Renault say needs new bracket and a couple of other bits but as they had fitted it the previous September it was not covered under the 12 month warranty.

2) He had bought a rear light bulb from Halfords a while back. They fitted it. Recently gets warning light on dash "electrical fault" ~ light gone out. Renault say bulb was incorrectly fitted (how?) and has burnt out the fitting. New rear light assembly needed.
