Not a bad result that tbh.
Would have preffered Hammy or Webber obviously, but the young Geeeeerman is a seemingly nice lad that comes over pdg really.

So satisfying to see Alonso hurling his dummy and teddy out of the car on the parade lap, and even better seeing Petrov swerving his car towards the nasty little spick prick as though to say, DON'T wave yer fist at me you nasty cheating whinging whining twat. eveilgrin:

Petrov is my new best friend. cloud9:

What is all this bollix about spraying water o9n the track to make it more exciting? It'll be like 'It's a Knockout' with teams playing their joker and stuff next...  noooo:

Just ban pit stops and make them carry a full fuel load on one set of tyres - they'll have to akchoewlee race each other then and not rely on 'tactics' as they so often do now...

Just make it like a demolition derby - would be much more fun.

Instead of 50 odd laps of - "oh look the person who was in pole position is still there, although a couple of overtakes have occurred and some new wheels have been put on "  sleep017

Steeple chase stylee would be good to watch.

I agree with Barman. I want to see one race, not a series of sprints. And dump all the telemetry and the wings. I wanna see some sideways action !
This last race was as dull as last season.
Not quite a regular ! Regular as clockwork me !

So... that's not dull at all.

I was listening to the pre-race build-up on the wireless and it does all sound a bit 'Whacky Races' with this new wing thing that only works if you are a second behind at the last bend or whatever... plus the energy recycling thing to boost BHP for a short period... Plus up to FOUR bastard pit stops this year they reckon... doh:

Just let the bastards race... and as for technology, just limit the engine size and let them do whatever they want beyond that... turbo charging, traction control, whatever... but ONE set of tires and no re-fuelling.... The technology all evens out in the end and ther skill of the driver will become important again....  happy088

Then I might bother watching it...  ;)

I think you'll find that refueling isn't allowed this season. Tyres wear so need changing but there are rules and restrictions on their use. I as far as I can see the driver's skill is always the deciding factor. I doubt any of us could drive an F1 car out of the pit lane let alone race.

It remonded me of that... I used to have a 'Scalextric' stylee thing when I was a boy... it had a slot track but the car hat batteries instead of picking power up from the track... and you had buttons on the side so you could change the route and re-direct your opponent... With hindsight it was more of a cops and robbers game than a F1 thing... or I might have imagined it....  rubschin:

Harder tyres then...  whistle:
