Can't even get the sodding thing to start up so am giving up. It can go back into school on Monday and the itbod can look at it and failing that there have been rumours of new laptops going round for a bit so hopefully one of those will be forthcoming.

BSoD on a laptop normally means game over. If it's old, it's not worth repairing but bear in mind any new PC will be Vista. Which is sh1te.

Yep I tried safe mode, and it just hits the blue screen again and then restarts over and over in a never ending cycle. I have decided that it isn't my problem.
