Absolutely amazing, and right in front of me. eeek:

Just loading me van up this morning when all of a sudden, loud bang...thought kids had kicked a ball aginst it. evil:
Looked up and there was this Hawk bouncing away from it with a rather large pigeon between its claws. eeek:
It landed on the deck amid clouds of feathers

Felt sorry for the poor Pidgy tbh that was struggling and obviously terrified, and lunged towards to help it in pure wild Bear fashion, but Hawky took off into the trees. evil:

I know this is all part of the food chain, but you normally only see this sort of stuff on David Attonborough type wild life shows, not in residentail shit 'oles. eeek:

This was taken a couple of years ago on someone's front drive.... they sent it to me to use in the magazine.
Apparently the hawk, having made the kill, would not be frightened off even when he walked out to take the picture.

Well I dunno if my reputation goes before me like, but ole Hawky here absolutely cacked himself and ffffff.....lew right off when he saw me BEARing down on him, claws on full display.
