Title: Paedo TV
Post by: Mr Happy on July 28, 2007, 08:07:21 PM
I may have borrowed this subject from somewhere else, didn't see any copyright laws but I'd like to credit the subject matter to somebody with the same first name as a boring ginger former snooker player and a seperate man who once fought alligators before being speared by a fish.

ITV's Baby Ballroom.  Prepubescents living their parents dreams in tight trousers and starched white shirts or if you're a non-gay sexual predator young girls in frilly half dresses.

Wasn't Channel 4's 'Minipops' banned for such peverse TV back in 83?

The only difference is that this is solely for the middle-classes and above, they love the up the arse stuff!

Then they have that twonk from X Fameschool Talentshow 15 as a judge. Well he's learnt from the worst 'Yeeew are wot this compeeteetion is all about'.

I find myself grasping after the meaning of this post, but it proves to be slippery....

As the actress said to the bishop drumroll:

I saw a bit of it, and I have to admit, I thought pretty much the same thing.

Christ on a bike!  I nearly felt guilty for looking at it and seriously wondered what it was doing on national TV...

What has this world come to?   Fortunately, I don't like children very much - my own managed to permanently alienate them to me - but even I have noticed a distinct reluctance of most men to even look in the direction of kids.

Men and children are divided by a culture more than black and white ever were because the division is fear.  Fear that some zealous soul will read into a glance some black desire, and run off screaming hysterically to report the blatant lust witnessed at first hand, and by the morning be a 'convicted' pedophile fit only to be ostracised and placed on the sex register forever.

At least they only called you racist for beating up Pakis   confused:

Another nail in the coffin of civilisation I think, because it removes men from the child's environment and neutralise's  any discipline that may be left.   In my day kids were scared of adults.  Now it's the kids that wield all the power!

And they use women as their enforcers.

I'll drink to that! Hic!

But seriously ~ the world has changed. I don't like the way it now is but I cannot change it back.
Guess when my time comes I'll not be too sad to leave it.

I never watched it, I was aware it was on but I think its t.v. for paedophiles, very much like the one the other night about child models, e.g Jon Bennett Ramsay. As for mini pops !! Jesus that's horrific ! noooo:

This is nothing new. My Daughter, like most little girls (was she ever a little girl?) wanted to learn "Dance" and started with tap lessons at the age of 3. By the time she had been at it a year the Dance school put on a performance and we all trooped along to find our little darlings with their hair swept up and lacquered into place, full eye make up and lipstick etc tapping away to the "Teddy Bears Picnic". Took ages to get the muck off the kid and it happened year after year with the various dance departments (Tap, Ballet, Modern, etc) all competing in competitions against other schools in the area. All the little girls were made up etc (just like the lasses on Come Dancing) and those boys who attended the classes had their mini tuxedos etc.
It was only ever a matter of time before Television, ever desperate for "new" ideas, latched onto it.

Don't see something sinister in this that doesn't exist ~ there are no more perverts out there now than in the past. We are just more aware of them is all.

I don't have a problem with children dancing.   I have a problem with them being made-up into something that they are not - adults.   It is behaviour that plays into the hands of people willing to exploit them.

Apart from which, the idea of applying makeup to kids still in single figures is perverse,

I imagine that makeup was intended for the older woman whose charms were fading and needed some help but acknowledge that girls habitually use it to enhance their age up to something that it is not.

In my view, therein lies the problem.

Apparently it is considered essential for performance purposes (I don't know why either) and marks will be deducted if the children are not made up in the traditional manner.  shrugs:

Mainly the reason for make-up is because without it on a stage with the lights you get bleached out. It is difficult to see features and so tonnes of slap is ladled on. It's the only time in my life I have ever worn blue eyeshadow and bright pink lipstick.

My new venture is mainly dealing with kids. scared2:

Too put it mildly, I'm SHITTING myself with worry about being accused of something I haven't done.

"Sorry, my hand accidentally brushed against you elbow" eeek:

I kid you not. This happened to me last year whilst doing a similar job elsewhere, only it was her knee, and I felt obliged to apologise....just in case she ran to mummy or daddy accusing me of molestation ffs.

What a sad and dangerous world we live in now.
