I had to attend a meeting about more cuts today. They are making various services null and void one of which is the finance office where petty cash can be collected....( with proper approvals,  receipts and everything of course !!! )

However in this meeting one of the officers who is in charge of sex establishment licensing and enforcement said

" Where are we going to get petty cash advances so we can purchase porn "

Yep they did suggest a whip round  lol:

It's just a branch of the licensing team but because we have quite a few of these establishments we have a seperate team.

Most of them are ex coppers unsurprisingly  ::)

But yes they have to purchase and view material and go to strip clubs and bars to ensure there are no breaches of licensing conditions .
