Title: Crimewatch
Post by: Barman on May 25, 2011, 06:19:12 PM
Watched it tonight (looking for Baldy)...

Haven't seen it since I left the UK 8½ years ago...

I notice in that time it has changed to goldfish styleee... the first five minutes (and then every few minutes thereafter) dedicated to showing snippets of the exciting crimes and criminals to come later in the show...  noooo:

I know my short-term memory is shot to pieces but fer fucks sake even I can remember wot they have planned for the rest of the sixty minute show without reminding me every five minutes!  ::) Especially as you are quite likely to remember anything that you might be vaguely interested in (and would prolly have switched off if you weren't)...

So it is particularly galling to have the last two minutes of the show rushed out with "we haven't got much time left so just a quick update..."

Fuck right off!  cussing:

If you hadn't pissed away the rest of the show with five-minute reminders there would have been plenty of time left you utter, utter wankers!

I will never, repeat never watch the show again and will not be renewing my licence fee!  redface:

I also watched it this week. (First time in years) It seems closer to "entertainment" than any sort of factual, public information programme. To me the reconstructions just pander to the prurient interest of the average viewer.
