Title: 'Reviewing your account'

I went into the bank at lunchtime today . The intention was to cancel a couple of direct debits on my account. Go to the information desk , but there is one other person in front.

Then from the side wings swoop the clipboard botherer's   evil:. " Hello madam , can I help you"

"No thanks , I just need to cancel some Direct debits and I can do that here "

"oh noes madam , we can't have you waiting around, I will just go and get someone to assist"
 ::)

Woman in front is still prattling on .....then out comes junior from his playpen.

"Please come with me madam"

Sit down in nice cosy office, he offers me a sweet from his bowl of Fruitella's  eeek:

I declined ( didn't want to have to stay longer than necessary)

Knowing where this was going I stated before he fired up his Fisher Price laptop that I was in a hurry and ALL i wanted to do was cancel 2 direct debits on my account.

" Certainly madam, are you sure you don't want a sweet "  noooo: noooo: noooo:

So up pop the details on his screen and then I show him what I want to be cancelled.

Then he starts... Banghead

" Why don't we take the opportunity to review your account whilst you're here "

" No , as I say I am in a rush"

"Well looking through your account here we could do this , that and the other "

" No thanks I have to go can I get my card back out of the reader"

" What about if we just set up an appointment for you to come in "

I just wanted to cancel a feckin direct debit
