So the YES vote won the little local referendum and Wales now has "Law making Powers"
Based on a turnout of a third of those entitled to vote it seems the WAG can now make laws on certain devolved matters.
Personally I see the result as a substantial "We couldn't give a fvck" from the majority.

First minister Carwyn Jones said: “It is a clear Yes across whole of Wales from the coast to the border.”
A total of 517,132 voted in favour of the proposals, with 297,380 against.
The turnout was 35 per cent, which was higher than forecast after the campaign failed to catch fire in Wales. Mr Jones said: "This is a historic day for Wales. It is a clear and concise Yes vote across whole of Wales from the coast to the border."
The new powers are expected to come into force in May. Areas that will remain the responsibility of Westminster will include economic policies, defence and foreign affairs, policing, criminal justice, social security, employment and energy.
So they can't raise tax, decide on a foreign policy, make laws that involve policing or defence, they can't change the sentencing laws, increase or lower social security and unemployment payments, change employment legislation or control anything to do with energy supplies.
rubschin: What can they do?
Well they have chosen 20 words that are commonly used in English and decided that by 2020 these must be replaced by Welsh words. Among these are "Thank-you", "Please" and "Hello" for which there are no direct translations so they must be scrapped in all "Official" Communication, verbal or written. You couldn't make it up could you! ::) Under this new law (Covered by their "Welsh Language Act") a copper will no longer be able to say "Hello, hello, hello" lol:
