Now that the decorations and Christmas Trees have been packed away for another year, the large and sprawling teenager has been sent back to school and the wife is back at work the house is strangely larger. Quieter too!!
Bliss in fact cloud9:
Mind you there's a fvck of a lot of cobwebs suddenly ........
-
I can understand what you mean however mine has changed little angel1 cloud9:
Are you staying awake tonight to listen to the antipodean finale? eveilgrin:
-
Oh yes! Every night in fact .... cloud9:
Mind you I feel like death by the afternoons so I'm glad it will all be over tonight.
Spread bet = It will finish between 0130 and 0150 weather permitting.
PS Off Topic in one post!
We have managed this only a couple of times in the past

I was dozing / listening / sleeping last night and chuckled mightily when it went over 600 eeek: cloud9:
0130 - 0150 ... now what's the in overs? You reckon between 2 and 3 hrs into play, eh? rubschin:

Forecast is for early morning (Aussie time) showers which may delay the start but I can't see it taking very long to knock off the tail. I expect the Aussies to stonewall a bit but they know they are beaten and all the remaining "not outs" have to play for is a place in the new team which must surely follow.

Someone will pop in shortly and say why is this not in the Sports section razz:
I might email my Oz Cuz #3 with a message of condolences. She'll be at work not too far from the stadium ... whistle:
-
Pretend we know nothing about it whistle:
Right ~ So back to the cobwebs and absence of decorations then.
Have you all removed yours?
-
I had a persistent spider in the bath earlier in the week, does that count?
Oh, and the Christmas card pile has been filed, so yes, much more space ;)
-
SWWLTBO always used to keep a towel hanging over the side of the empty bath as an escape route for bath spiders, she now "rescues" them for release into the garden....... I kill the b@st@rd things eveilgrin:
-
That sounds like a very Buddhist thing to do, not treading on ants and the like. I just drown the buggers (hopefully) but this last one had the tenacity, nay temerity to reappear eeek:
I see a thread in this; The Bath Spider Thread - with pics! evil:
