Title: Haggis for Christmas
Post by: beerhead on December 13, 2010, 01:03:33 PM
I have just been informed that it has been decided that, since no-one can agree on what they want, I am having haggis for Christmas dinner !
Great,13 people eating the shit. And I have to buy it.

Noooooooooooooooooooo. I bought one at Edinburgh airport a while back and cooked it.

1. It was disgusterous
2. It kept getting bigger so we never finished it
3. I put it out for the birds who turned their beaks up

Buy a goose and flush the fooking haggis down the bog  sick2:

Yes Beerhead, assert your male authority and put your foot down. Are your rellies Scottish Gingers? ( sick2:). Tell them it's fine English goose or they can eat oats. That'll learn 'em.

This all came about because i wanted lamb for Christmas (It's standard in Italy and this is my first Christmas in the UK for 4 years). A branch of my family live in Edinburgh, which is about as Scottish as Wokingham. No, Nick, no gingers with a penchant for livestock as they are all lowlanders.
Not helped by it being the Latin Lovely's first Christmas in the UK and she is channeling the Dundonian bit of her past.
I'm not paying for it whatever. I want to be in the village smelling woodsmoke, eating roast lamb and drinking Barolo by the litre !

Haggis is digusterous  sick2:  - simples

I am thinking this is a long term strategy though to ensure these people will not be returning next year  rubschin:
