Title: Look, it's not my fault...
Post by: DDD on December 08, 2010, 08:55:34 PM
I was looking for the new-posty button, but it's hidden in a stupidly, stupid sort of place - rather like behind the bike sheds. So I pressed a few things and I ended up in Paypal, who were begging for my support regarding the VP.

I appear to have donated the grand sum of 1 pence - which I feel is far too much - but since I have, I'd be greatful if the BM could furnish me with a VAT invoice along with a declaration of my contribution for tax purposes for the year 2009-2010. Form 1258A, HMRC, should suffice.

Kind regards, and please check PayPal for my generous (but inadvertant) donation.

P.S. If a ban is felt necessary, I'll understand, but I will sue you for the return of the donation, before I accept the ostracisation.

What will BM do when he gets the funds (1p) and Paypal want 50p to process the transaction?

Will I be more brown-nosed?  scared2:

Yes, I reckon DDD had to blow the dust off it first...

Perhaps I should change from £sd to something more modern...?  rubschin:

Hmm...

My hunt for the posty-button seems to have back-fired somewhat.  ::)

During my random pressing of buttons and my overly-generous donation via PayPal, I seem to have initiated the payment from a dormant, zero-balance account.

Dear DDD

We notice that your account 20-6*-5* 2005**72 is currently overdrawn to the value of £0.01 As previously advised, Barclays charge an unauthorised overdraft fee of £10 for each transaction that takes you over your agreed overdraft amount (currently £0.00). Please contact a customer service adviser if you have difficulty in making repayments...
