How excellent! cloud9:
No doubt he'll be sentenced to an extended jail term and b- oh. what am I thinking... noooo:
-
'Spect he changed his plea, on advice from his brief, in the hopes of a lighter sentence.
Even lawyers know when they are beaten.

To be sentenced in January. And I see Phil Woollly Arse is out on his ear too cloud9:

Chaytor, a former lecturer who is married and has three children, faces up to seven years in jail but his guilty pleas mean the judge can reduce his sentence by a third. In September this year, Andrew Gibson, 49, a House of Commons budget officer, was jailed for nine months for siphoning off nearly £6,000 in fake MPs' expenses.
We shall see.

18 months! There's a result!
Sets a bench mark for those who have yet to be tried/sentenced.
Works out at about a month for every £1,000 he thought he had got away with.
-
But there is always another one to fill the gap.

Most excellent - and in Wandsworth too - not some easy open jail... cloud9:

Indeed ~ unfortunately they'll probably move him to a lower category prison in a few weeks and no doubt he will be out in 9 to 12 months but the point has been made ....
Oh and I like the sound of this bit too
Chaytor now faces a large legal bill for both his defence and the costs of bringing the prosecution against him.
