Title: A level History students
Post by: Snoopy on November 30, 2010, 05:09:12 PM
SWWLTBO has spent the day in bed marking essays for her A level students.
The following are random examples. I must stress that these are students who have left school and are playing catch up at a College of Further Education ~ and by Christ they need it! They all hope to be at University next year!
SWWLTBO is alternately  Banghead and  happy001
Quote
1. The Magna Cater was a typed document.

2. Anne Frank was released on dvd in January 2009.

3. Some many argue that Magna Carta was downright bossy.

4. Hitler was nasty and aggressive but ceasar was naïve and generous.

5. As a child, Hitler was moody, lazy and aggressive at times, but he was close to his mum.

6. The 1997 film of titanic is not as accurate as the video taken of it leaving Southampton in September 1912.

7. The Indians stole there cattle and raffles and attacked all the cowboys.

8. Food became scares.

9. Ann Frank shows threw her Diary how she managed to survive a difficult adolescence.

I promise we have not changed a word!

You know the roolz Nick.

No red ink comments by Teachers/Tutors!
Spelling doesn't matter if the meaning is clear!
You are there to teach History, not English!
You may not make disparaging comments in front of other students!
Criticism must be constructive and timely!
You may only correct factual errors!

Etc.

Personally I dunno why she does the job but it pays well and she lurves it!!!
