 But we still have money for foreign aid . Banghead Banghead Banghead WTF is wrong with this country?? We cant afford it FFS Banghead Banghead Bollox to the third world -- -------we are part of it now .

Must admit that I felt  cussing: when Osborne announced that yesterday.

Most of his ideas seem to be aimed in the right direction but I habour doubts if it will be enough.

Willing to bet it will be the "vital" service in local government that will be cut and they will hang onto "Diversity Officers" and the like.

The plus point for me is that at least the elder child will be in uni before it gets impossibly expensive ...... tho' f*ck knows what we will do with the other two.

 rubschin: Possibly ..... No pit ponies to be looked after though. Come to that no more mines to send them down. No Army/Navy/RAF left worth mentioning either the way things are going.

I've not seen or heard any news today but I hope this one has been addressed... Of the £900million civil legal aid budget, a tenth was spent last year on asylum and immigration cases, there's £90million saved straightaway. And yes, I know it's a drop in the ocean
