Title: Why ?
Post by: Miss Demeanour on October 17, 2010, 04:54:31 PM
Does it take sooooooooo much longer to load a DVD that you have created  / copied / burnt etc on your standard DVD player than it does an ordinary one that you buy ?

Surely the loading process should be exactly the same ???

Depends on how you ripped it, or more to the point, what software you used.

Some burners do not create exact copies, just things that run.

I can recommend a good bit of s/ware if you are interested.

Home movies put onto DVD are always slower because the laser catches on the sprocket holes.

Ok then, wasn't sure if you were copying DVDs.

What format are the vids?

DVDs are more complex than straight video.
