Title: Back ups

Ok .....I am being very forward thinking...... I have bought a lovely new hard drive ( tiny and in it's own case  cloud9: )...for my new laptop that I am getting ... to back up all my photo's , video's , music etc.

I have probably not been so forward thinking in a long time.

What could possibly go wrong  ? rubschin:

Backups are a must. The more the better.

Just remember to check them from time to time, and don't waste money on backup software.

Failing that, write stuff to DVD.

Also keep backups in a fire/bomb/Nickoray-proof location, preferably off-shore.

I have now been trying to install updates and security blah de blah's on my puter.......that it keeps telling me I absolutely must do ..or the sun will stop shining etc ....except it still doesn't bloody work. Ended up having to do a system restore  evil:
