Title: Its that time of the year again
Post by: Roy Cropper on October 05, 2010, 11:04:09 AM
Yep its "cyclops" motorists time again . Went out in early evening yesterday for a short trip and spotted without difficulty 9 cars with a light out . FFS I drive a 9 YO car and all lights in working order yet these defective cars are only a few year old . What is a matter with these  Wankah: Wankah: S ??

Some people just can't be bothered to check them on a regular basis. Same goes for tail/brake lights.

I have some water in my car electrics. The lights are OK (I checked) but the dashboard looks like a chav's house at Christmas  noooo:

I regularly check the lights on all three cars. The only problem I ever get is in checking the indicators as some clown when asked to help by observing those that need a person in the driving seat (brake lights for example) will tell me that the indicators are working .... No they're not, yes they are, no they're not, yes they are ....... gets tedious after a while.  tunble:

Everyone thinks they're being original.

Only the brake lights need a foot on the pedal. I check mine by seeing them reflected in the white garage door.

Bloody typical.  cussing:
Headlight bulb blows on the very first night of useage on this poxy GMT.

Absolute horror show and utter mare to replace.
Need the hands of a baby to get to it, and this is the easier of the two too.
Sort of replaced it in a howling gale with rain dribbling down me neck, but it's not straight.

Still, it's only Mrs G driving it tonight.
I'll do it properly in daylight tomorrow.
