Post by: Barman on September 25, 2010, 05:05:15 PM
Anybody see it...?

Just watched the first one and thoroughly enjoyed it...

Clicky (http://sky1.sky.com/an-idiot-abroad)

Clearly staged (al la Top Gear) but amusing none the less....

The fact that all the trailers leading up to it featured Gervais was enough to put me off giving it a try  confused:

I watched the highlights of the China trip on skyplayer and liked it, so I watched the India trip last night. Great stuff. When they shown that baba guy with the walking stick, for some reason I thought about Darwin and his walking stick  eeek:

Fair play to Asda for apologising tho - too many of these bastard companies won't...

LL has just had a run-in with HSBC - the deceased department insist on addressing letters to her Mum and asking for her when they ring up. They've also fucked all the accounts up... will they apologise? No.  evil:

I've still to watch the recording of it. It's been a great series, a pity Gervais had to get his face and laugh in there each week. Karl Pilkington is one of those people that is naturally funny
