This little scrote shouldnt have been on the grounds in the first place. If he hadnt been there, much less swinging on the gate then he wouldnt have been injured in the first place. Instead of awarding him compensation he should have had to pay for the damage he did to the gate! evil:
Leicestershire County Council has confirmed it was forced to pay nearly ?6,000 in compensation to a pupil who was trespassing on school grounds.
The secondary school pupil was awarded ?5,700 after he was injured while swinging on a gate at a primary school.
He was hurt when the gate collapsed but the authority could not prove that it had been properly maintained.
A county council spokesman said: "The student was not a pupil at the school where the accident occurred."
'Serious injury'
He added: "Only one payment was made to a pupil who attended one of our schools for a personal injury.
"The pupil was trespassing at night at a local primary school and was injured swinging on a large gate when the hinges gave way and the gate collapsed.
Ok what is the function of a gate? its there to close off an area . NOT for the amusement of some little scrote who thinks its fine to tresspass on property he has no right to access.
"As we were unable to prove that the gate had been maintained, compensation of ?5,700 was paid to the pupil."
At a school in Derbyshire, a pupil was awarded about ?10,000 for a "serious injury" sustained at school.
A spokeswoman from Derbyshire County Council confirmed a payment had been made but confidentiality clauses prohibited the exact details of the case from being discussed.
