It was background sound partial viewing as I was getting ready most mornings. It's now called "Daybreak" and hosted by Adrian Chiles. Good to see the set is dull and grey, the background is dull and grey, and most of the presenters were mostly grey. All done no doubt to match the dull bland boring Chiles

Top Post!
Chiles is indeed a bland, self inflated Brummie ego on legs.
Can't stand the man.
-
And what is all that standing up having a chat whilst leaning against a bar...then trying to look at the camera noooo:
Looked bloody ridiculous.
Top story - Farepak customers stil not receiving their payouts. Really in all the world that is the top story Banghead
Colours on set dull beyond belief and lets have lots of fillers of the sun rising across the country noooo:

Seconded!
(struggles to hold back Ray Alan joke redface:)

Terrible start, what's with all the moving about? and those various sunrises ~ just give us the weather.
And Farepak, did you see the woman still "visibly upset" after 4 YEARS! noooo:
-
I had Sky News on this morning... what an utter pile of shite that has turned into... noooo:

I had Sky News on this morning... what an utter pile of shite that has turned into... noooo:
"Turned into" implies it was, at some point, non-shite. I never observed that.
I would rather watch Fox News, as you can always guarantee a laugh at the expense of our former colonial cousins.

I watched it in preference to the Biased Broadcasting Corporation but now they seem just as bad...
And the news is dumbed down to such an appalling degree...
A brief piece on British Airways this morning required endless animations of aircraft to make the point... noooo:
And what is the point of asking viewers for their opinion? Banghead
"We asked earlier if you preferred tea or coffee; Ian from London sent us a text saying he preferred tea while Sophie from Richmond (laughs) send an e-mail saying coffee is the better drink"
FFS! noooo:

I just can't handle the sight of all those perfect, obviously enhanced, whiter than white teeth glaring at me in the mornings. sparkle:
So I stay with the curmudgeons and idiots on Radio 4

Seems to be a lot of tele watchers here ::)....... soooooo early in the morning too eeek:
-
As JOM said "background" viewing while getting ready for work. Catch the news, weather and the local travel. Sometimes the odd "magazine" type piece will get my attention.
No need for rolling eyes.

Much the same reason as I have Radio 4 playing in the morning. I usually catch snippets of "Farming Today" and imagine DS fuming at the latest stupidity and straight into "Today" at 6 am. I turn the radio(s) off when Jenni Murray starts ranting about Breast Cancer and other wimmins issues at 10 ~ Unless there is Cricket on later it then stays off until 5pm.

To be fair, the Jeremy Kyle show does have one important redeeming feature. No matter how bad a time you are having you can watch an episode and feel better knowing that at least you are not one of those inbred fecktards

No need to be coy Roy ;)
Nothing at all wrong in watching television. You just have to be a bit discerning.

Boys, boys, toys back in pram please or someone will get a good smacking (or do I mean bad smacking ?).

Papers are reporting that Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley are to leave the show See here (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2063511/Chiles-Bleakley-axed-Daybreak-breakfast-ratings-flop.html)
I actually got to like his dry sense of humour. So, who presents it next? They could have the VP'ers, we could take it in turn to say "Good morning" to everybody like whistle:

Could be interesting. Growler would lilely tell the viewers to bugger off, Miss D slumped in a corner surrounded by empty voddy bottles, Nick would inevitably bring down half the set and if we spray paint the bucket pink we could try to pass BM off as a cyber tellytubby to appeal to the kids. whistle:

GMTV isn't BBC, Snoops...

When did accuracy become a prerequisite of posting on this site? razz:

Oh .... and I think you'll find that the Teletubbies were on BBC too

One of the advantages of adopting a 4 year old was that we managed to skip the Teletubbies phase. Thomas the Tank Engine got on my nerves though evil:

I could have tried for a Roland Rat comparison instead of the tellytubbies but I didn't want to show my age. whistle:

Thomas the Tank Engine drove me up the wall, prolly made me what I am today. My two eldest loved it and I now have an earworm of the amusing music that went with it. They had tapes and it was Ringo Star reading it, christ on a bike surely they could have got someone else. Lest we forget.....

I could be the cheerful presenter next to the chef and try and pretend I'm really enjoying this gross food at early in clock in the morning. In fact we could make them all fish recipes and then I could throw up live on air and educate the masses on the evils of fish - practical demonstration like whistle:
