Just been reading more shite from the Growler jnrs shool headmaster.
He's complaining about disruptive pupils that are preventing staff from doing the job they are employed to do, i.e. TEACH.
He is therefore adopting a new approach next term, by ensuring his staff make notes about the disruptive pupils, and getting the parents of said morons to come in to be interviewed with a view to dragging these kids in on a saturday morning for extra tuition as some sort of detention/punishment.
He would value the opinions of parents on this new and forward thinking idea, as to wheather we think it would work or not, and would also value any other suggestions.
Yea right. ::)
Quite simple really, and as I've said 'til Im blue in the bastard face, there is only one solution....BRING BACK THE CANE, and bring back the power to school teachers to twat these little bastards around the face if they step out of line.
I'm heartily sick to death of all this mealy mouthed political correctness human rights total utter utter utter garbage. It HAS wrecked our society, but those in power are just too blind to see it.
It woked in my day, and the vast majority saw it as a damned good deterrent to behave too.
I appreciate that this will be rejected as it's against the law now, so we'll meanwhile keep plodding on watching the behaviour slump to even lower depths as the years roll by. evil:

Growler is currently seeking and hunting the whereabouts of a vicious poisonous reptile, just one of many that see bad behaviour as some sort of fun challenge, and to cause as much disruption and heartcache as possible.
He is not a happy teddy today but passes on his best wishes.

Like it or not (and I do not!!!) we're stuck with it.
I have been watching and fighting this crap since 1973 when my eldest started school and all that time I've been saying "the pendulum will swing back again". I'm still waiting ::)

Well for starters we all have a vote and the right to ask our would be MPs if they support our views. If they do not then they don't get our votes.
However, IMHO, the big problem is the number of female teachers in all schools. My daughter attends a local high school where the teaching staff of 180 is over 80% female ..... most are smaller than the louts they are supposed to be teaching and many look as if they are on work experience. What chance have they got? My teachers were all ex-forces and all male (OK I went to a boys school and the sister school was all Girls with an all female staff. BUT even the female teachers had some experience of the Land Army if not actual service in the forces because we are talking the 1950s when the war was still a very recent experience for all adults. Those Lady Teachers could and did also wield a cane when appropriate.
There will have to be a backlash one day because we are not all going to go on being pushed around by these idiots. I hope I live to see it.

Back in way back then I went to a SE mixed Comp Scholl (told you I was thick previously redface: and had failed my 11+) and I did something naughty, which in my defence was beacuse I was sticking up for another lesser abled pupil but the bottom line was that I was the onewho got caught eeek: so 'fair cop and all that and after having been marched to the headmaster's office and stood outside for the mandatory embarasing 10 minutes so EVERBODY knows you are in 'poo street' escorted in and no. I didn't get the cane, but I did get the slipper for my misdemour and I deserved it and took my punishment with as much good grace as I could, also accompanied by having to take home a 'sealed' letter to my parents - which no I most certainly didn't even think about opening' - telling them why I had received the slipper. However that all said once the punsihment was metted out and recorded we all move on and that was my one and only experience of (otherthan special BM bedroom requests of course ::)) a short sharp shock!!
Bring CP back- it works ........................
PS) Growler - come back in yor previous avatar - I thought your shiny new white coat was sexy!!! DOn;t know quite waht to make of the FC garb?
