Growler jnr is always critisising me for going straight to switch off before I've signed off the interweb.
He reckons it's knackering the 'puter, but I reckon he's talking mucho crapio. rubschin:

By failing to sign off you could be enabling the next user to access wherever you have been. This is how your nearest and dearest (most expensive) were able to follow you into the VP.
BUT no it will not knacker your 'puter ~~ just invalidate all your careful passwording. I hope you don't bank on line or keep credit card info in there.

If you have set your options to clear files etc on exiting your browser, then they may not be cleared. Not really harmful, but possibly a security risk and maybe could clog the sytem with temp files etc.

Oh, seemingly if only partly correct then i suppose, only the knackerisation bit is a load of baloney.
I don't do any banking or c/c stuff online though.
