Why always black? Maybe it would be more fun if they were colourful and patterned  rubschin:

Do any of the ladies here cover their hair if they go in a church?
Mrs DS #2 and my mother always did.
It was apparently 'improper and disrespectful' not to do so.
We are talking vanilla C of E here, nothing 'high'.

We should be following the French lead over this imo.
Worse than bloody hoodies.
Bloody sick to the very back teeth of all the trouble and grief religous beliefs cause.

Indeed DS, my mother always used to wear a hat to Church. The Laydees around these parts seem partial to a hat head-dress. It's usually a daring architectural construction cut from the 50 yards of material used to make the dress. Mind you, this is no ordinary Church; they have names like "The Holy Risen Church of In-Believers Awaiting The Sacred Secret Blessings".

They also make an extraordinary amount of noise  eeek:

I think we should encourage more of us to wear the berka - they are flattering, a girl can have bad hair days and get away with it, no need to shave yer legs etc  happy088
