There's a museum in Stockholm, the Vasa Museum that houses a similar vessel but in superb condition. Unlike the Mary Rose it barely exited the harbour ... I think the King had a sort of Eddie Izzard moment prior to it's launch.

"No... we need more cannon, more guns, yes, pile them up, yes, and statues, colour the statues, paint them, more flags and Jam, lots of Jam... Look there's space there for more guns! Come on! Pile them up! Lovely!  Ooooh beautiful.... Now let her go! Off she goes, marvellous! Doesn't she look wonderful? All those guns and stuff, flags waving... Hurrah...

Oh Bugger. She's capsized.  redface:"


There she lay in the mud for centuries, but now amazingly beautifully restored.

The vomit smell is very difficult to get rid of.  I am sure a pleasant time will be had by all providing BM is sitting down wind. whistle:
