Yesterday I purchased a telescopic magnetic picky uppy thingy.  It will be very useful for retrieving screws etc when I have dropped them behind the sofa. redface:

OK ~ My mother, a great seamstress, used to keep a large magnet in her sewing basket in order that she could locate any dropped pins etc. She would, when finishing her sewing for the day, run the magnet over the chair she had been using and then the carpet around it. The magnet never failed to locate something she had dropped.

I on the other hand have dropped a few things that should never be located. noooo:  I am Wenchy and I claim my £5.00 or is that just too weird?

My mother is brilliant at buying useless pressies and once gave my sister and I matching things to store your belts on.  Somewhere I have a photograph of my sister wearing them as earrings. whistle:

Sometimes babies wake up the moment they are laid to bed. For those dads and mums, here is sure way to remove a lot of headaches. Named as Zaky, this ergonomic infant "hand" pillow mimics the size, weight, touch, and feels of a mother’s hand and forearm to help her baby sleep with comfort, support, protection, and development...
  eeek: eeek:noooo: sick2:

I am reminded of either the Munsters or The Adams Family not sure which one featured the hand.
