Title: Temp. loss of memory.
Post by: GROWLER on May 24, 2010, 05:32:33 PM
Should be glad I suppose, but mid morning today, I appeared to lose my memory for about 15 minutes. eeek:
Just stared blankly at papers, phone numbers and my diary, with a most disturbing lack of being able to comprehend what was actually before me. confused:

It all passed thankfully, and I feel fine, but wtf was THAT all about ey? Shrugs:

I have those ~ the family call them "Dad's CRAFT Moments"

Can't
Remember
A
Fvcking
Thing

I admit they often happen when someone is after money that I allegedly promised.

No I'm not taking the piss ~ I do get times like that ~ the doctors tell me they are connected to the shocks I have received from my defibrillator ~ apparently such shocks are thought, by some, to fuck up the short term memory. At first I was worried it might be the onset of dementia .... which is what killed my dad when he was only 7 years older than I am now.

I haven't actually been defibrilated lately tbh Snoop, so can't blame that.

Dimensia setting in? Who knows.

Some say I lost me marbles years ago.
As long as all my bad memories get wiped out along with all the current day to day stuff, it'll actually be quite a welcome relief in some ways tbh.
P'raps I'll start walking around with a permanent stupid grin on me face and not giving a flying duck about anything anymore.

Quite an apt thread this really.
Trying to forget and deny me burfday, and now just been 'stood up' by a wumman who MAY have innocently forgot that she was supposed to be meeting me at the local Mini dealership to fix her new car that the dealership in York managed to damage just prior ro delevery. ::)
Left her a Growler style message on her answer phone message box thingy, so I'll probably never hear from her again. lol:

It is not a "Tramper" (Off road mobility scooter) but should serve most purposes that I am likely to put it to.

Why not a "Tramper"? I can give you ?5850 reasons.

I could get a fvcking quad bike for less.
