After all I said earlier about 'respect'. ::)
Trouble flared up again at the back of Growling Towers tonight.
10 low life breath wasters desended upon the park that backs onto our property, cans of arseoles ale and lowlife lager in hand, and then rapidly down throats. Noise and swearing levels became intolerable as their chosen tipple took effect.
I went out to peer through the fence and was greeted by a 'let's see who can piss the highest up Growlers fence competition'.
The stench was gut wrenching sick2:
Straight in, and growling exceedingly vociferously I rang the plod.
Took about 5 minutes of listening to f'kin' 'Greensleaves', and a repetative condecending worthless apology for the delay, as they were..... "currently experiencing a higher than usual volume of phone calls, but feel free to email us if it's not urgent, lah de bloody dah etc.,etc",....message evil:
Finally got through and told them to get someone out straight away as I felt the situation was becoming more dodgy by the minute.
I was told they were very busy and he'd send an officer around when he had one available.
Yea, like when? After the trash have deperted no doubt, and my fence has been kicked in, YET again. evil:
I stressed this must be treated with urgency, and if deemed neccessary I would be turning the hose pipe on them, to which he replied..."you do that SIR, and you WILL be arrested! eeek:
I slammed the phone down in disgust without responding.
10 minutes later plod arrived and moved them on after taking a few names to presumably send letters on to their parents. HA! ::)
P'raps if I hadn't threatened to 'commit an offence' ::) I'd still have been waiting?

There is precious little comfort for normal people in this country any more, and I fear, for a long time to come.
Offenders are free to do whatever then want and everyone else must suffer the lack of response from our guardians of peace and order do nothing.
We are plagued but small children illegally driving these mini bikes around the open countryside behind our house and apart from the noise, we risk death or serious injury by going anywhere near the speed crazed youngsters.
The police are sympathetic and say that whilst they would like to do something, it never happens when they are around. Amazing! No problem, we say, we have loads of photo's identifying who it it and what they are doing.
Plod nearly had a fit! You can't go round taking photographs of children they say, a good way to get yourself onto the sex register, don't do it! What? says me, Do you mean that it is a criminal offence for me to photograph children while they are breaking the law?
Well, not exactly, came the response, but you do risk being hounded out as a pervert, and besides, even with the photo's it's still only your word against theirs! Best leave it.
So there you are! in the most heavily surveilled country in the world - we can't take pictures any more. Want to buy a nearly new Nikkon anybody?
This must truly be the golden era for all the criminal and disruptive low-life's in the world to do what they want with in Britain with no fear of ever reaping the consequences. A thug's charter in fact.
I wonder how long it'll take for the penny to drop that the country is rotting - by order. How will the children of todays young thugs behave and then, their children beyond them... Thank god I am past it!

So much talking in the likes of here, phone ins, papers, tv, problem pages, the pub, the supermarket, the street, over the garden fence (if it's still standing), everywhere in fact.
Me, you, and the majority of us weary worn out sick of listening to the same old excuses, fedup and thouroughly pissed off public, seem to simply put up with it though, don't we?
