What charity work? Isnt this the same Cherie Blair who CHARGED to make speeches and appear at charity events? She has done nothing to deserve such a position and while I have little time for the House of Lords in general this makes a mockery of the entire system. Even the cash for honours scandal doesnt come close to this as they at least put something in to 'earn' their position.  cussing:
