I just popped out and fancied Fish and CHips for lunch. Now I have them it feels wrong because it is light outside. I normally only eat Indian takeaways in the dark I now realise. Likewise pizza.
Is it me or are certain foods only OK at certain times of day? rubschin:
PS
The local takeaway does everyfink, and quite well too considering: pizza, Fish and chips, burgers, omelettes, kebabs.
Owner is a Cypriot eeek:
We chatted
"Yes I come from Cyprus"
Me: Whereabouts?
"Pissouri. What a shithole. I left as soon as I was old enough and came to Scallypool."

It is just you lol: - isn't it meant to be better for you to eat your main meal at lunch if you abide by the " Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper " principal
Although I know people that enjoy eating the leftovers from their Indian Takeaway for breakfast eeek:
I don't think I would have the stomach for that first thing in the morning noooo:

Cold Chicken Korma sandwich at lunchtime on occasion redface:

There is no 'bad time' for chips IMHO
Indian take aways for breakfast used to be a staple, I don't do breakfast and they never felt like breakfast. redface:
However for whatever reason my eating habits change at the weekend.

Popcorn:

Agreed Miss C - I could quite happily eat chips any time of the day ( see also chocolate , crisps, cake ) redface:
But as for the spicier stuff if it is nearer lunchtime then that is fine - but within an hour or two of getting up I think I would struggle

Popcorn:
Nothing exciting, most of the time I can assure you just tend to go into graze mode, so rather than having meals at semi set times shop and graze. There is an excellent secondhand book shop here that also does excellent coffee so a browse and a large coffee at 11ish does me until about 2pm a sort of in between time, close to the book shop there is an eatery which does very good calamari, come 7pm need wine and food proper. You have been warned

You have a far more sophisticated palate than me though redface:
-
With my mature digestive system, spicy food for breakfast would be bad news for anyone within 6feet for the rest of the day. redface:

Chips... Drool:

I like Chinese; I can eat a Chinese at lunch or dinner, no problem. But breakfast? noooo:
