Didn't know where else to post this, so feel free to move it if you must.
We need a petrol heads section. OK?

Now this is how to re-create an old model imo. happy088
Looks bloody fantastic, and will surely give the Mini a run for its money.

They've somehow managed to make it look so much like the original too.
Damned cool. 8)

The Arbarth will be a massive hit I suspect.

Ford. Retro Anglia now please. whistle:

The Anglia would have been a much nicer car if it had had four gears!

I completely wore out second, hurtling around central London with it.  Ahhh.  such memories... cloud9:

pity it didn't have a computer fitted!

I was talking about REAL Anglia's

The 100E for example  or even the venerable E93A (Sit-up-and-beg)

The Prefect 107E was a class upgrade with proper gears and more doors.

I later had a 109E Classic  It had a column change and a boot like a car park. We got it because we could just plonk the new daughter's pram without bothering to dismantle it.

We later moved house with it by removing the lid and making it into a pick-up,  wardrobes and all.   ;)

Problem was... I kept snapping crankshafts.  should have got the 113E 5 bearing engine.

I was still at Junior school when the Classic came out. ;D

I remember thinking just how cool it was, cus it had TWIN headlights! eeek:

Cool wasn't the word that many owners used though, as IIRC they suffered terrible overheating problems.

Going to the local Boat Museum ORIGINAL Mini show tomorrow.
Another fine little car from the 50/60's and now worth a fortune, even for a scrapper. eeek:

Didn't have a radio fitted as standard though.
They were originally made in Halewood so were all probably nicked on the production line. ::)

The first one is still on show in liverpool museum
