I believe he had Alzheimer's too, but was still performing!
I think I read that somewhere too.
Makes me feel ashamed that I can't manage my condition(s) better. And he was twenty years older than me!!
Melly had been suffering from lung cancer but refused all treatment. He also developed dementia. His last appearance was a performance in June at London's renowned 100 Club in aid of a dementia charity.
His wife said in a statement: "For 60 years he has been an acclaimed, popular and much-loved performer."
Melly, wit. raconteur and writer as well as jazz singer, was the author of three acclaimed volumes of autobiography in which he wrote frankly about his bisexuality and heavy drinking.

Oooerr! I think I'll pass on that one Snoops if you don't mind. Some things I feel inherently don't appeal, but thanks for the offer!

Now you are being silly.
Don't tell me that you never had a w@nk with your mates at school 'cos I won't believe you. It doesn't make you a transvestite. Nor does it make you blind, grow hair on the palms of your hands or your dick fall off. ::)

I never did actually, then again I never went to public school.. probably explains why I ended up working in the NHS

Coincidentally, you know that Vernon Coleman is a transvestite.

Comps didn't exist in your day (or mine) Out with it (so to speak)
-
No ~ but whatever rocks your boat, as they say.
It makes no difference to me what anyone is.
Studies have proved time and again that the majority of adolescent males gain their first knowledge of masturbation from older siblings or school friends. The majority admit that their first act of masturbation is shared with another boy. Again the same studies by Kinsey and others have shown that many men fantasise about wearing female underwear and that many admit to having tried on their wives knickers at least once.
I'll admit to being one of those who, if asked for an honest answer would say yes I fall into that category.I would have to say that my first sexual experience was with other boys, I have had such fantasies and tried them out. That I no longer masturbate with other males and haven't for over 45 years, I do not wear womens underwear and have 5 children by two wives and am happily married demonstrates, I think, that I am not homosexual. BUT what difference does that make to anything or anybody else?

True enough Nick but I didn't think that the youngsters on here would know what a Tertiary Modern School was.

Too much information
many men fantasise about wearing female underwear and that many admit to having tried on their wives knickers at least once.
Presumably they end up around the BF's ankles (size or stressed elastic)
Must rush off................

I don't think she has seen it, fortunately. I am in London on July 11 and 12 and if I meet her will take one of those clever estate agents' electronic measuring devices. evil:
